That is why we take the following measures on all our job sites, no matter how big or small:
We have a full Work Health Safety Management System, and are CM3 qualified.
We create and use site specific SWMS (safe work method statements)
We conduct a site risk assessment prior to commencing any work on site
All workers are white card accredited
We do not allow our workers on a roof if they have not completed the relevant working at heights training and have been issued with a Working at Heights ticket.
For safe roof access, we may require the use of access platforms eg scissor lifts and boom lifts.
If required, scaffold and/or guard rail is installed at job sites to ensure our tradesmen are safe when working at heights.
All safety equipment and power tools are inspected and tagged
For the safety of our workers we monitor the weather conditions closely and do not allow our workers on a roof if it is wet, raining or in extreme heat.
We conduct pipe and cable detection services prior to digging in the ground.
